Angelonia

The spikes of flowers can be either white, purple or pink. Angelonia can be planted anytime from mid april thru summer. Another name for angelonia is summer snapdragon, it does well in hot climates. If winter temperatures don't get below the low 20's, this perrenial should come back next summer. The height of angelonia can grow from 1 ft to 3 ft. When planting, fertile the soil with compost or manure. The hole should be as deep and as wide as the rootball. Water well after transplanting. Saturate the roots monthly with a liguid fertilizer.
